Adjust the diaper and insert by choosing the right snap setting (your diaper arrives snapped down to the "small" setting). Put the insert in your diaper. Put the diaper on your baby. bumGenius Cloth Diapers go on just like a disposable diaper. Care Instructions for bumGenius 3.0 One-Size Cloth Diaper : Shake solids into toilet and store in dry pail. Fasten tabs to laundry tabs on inside of diaper and remove insert before washing. You can wash first in cold water with no more than 1/4 (high efficiency machines) to 1/2 (regular machines) of the recommended detergent. You should only use detergents that are free of dyes, enzymes, perfumes, whiteners and brighteners. Then wash in hot water with same quantity of detergent. Optionnally add an extra rinse to remove any lingering detergent in the diapers. Do not use fabric softeners or vinegar.
